Hooper, Lundy & Bookman (HLB), is pleased to announce that it has been retained to serve as Outside General Counsel to the American Health Care Association (AHCA), effective July 1, 2025.
HLB Managing Shareholder Mark Reagan will lead the firm’s work in this role, continuing his longstanding service to the long-term and post-acute care community. “HLB is honored to serve as Outside General Counsel to AHCA, whose critical work supports the providers caring for some of the most vulnerable populations in our health care system,” said Reagan. “We look forward to advancing AHCA’s mission and supporting its members through trusted legal counsel and a shared commitment to quality care.”
HLB’s representation of AHCA will be backed by a nationally recognized team with deep experience in long-term and post-acute care, reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and health care litigation—positioning the firm to provide comprehensive, strategic guidance on the issues that matter most to AHCA and its members.
