COVID-19 and Legal Changes to AHP and Medical Resident Practice: Challenges in Redeploying Existing Healthcare Workforce During the State of Emergency and Beyond

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and state governments have issued emergency rules and regulations expanding the use of allied health practitioners (AHPs) and medical residents during the COVID-19 state of emergency.
