Hooper, Lundy & Bookman is deeply saddened by the recent antisemitism and expressions of hate directed towards the Jewish community, including numerous incidents taking place in Los Angeles and other parts of the country. Unfortunately, these are not new developments but instead represent a recurrence of conduct that must be acknowledged and condemned. We believe that it is essential that all generations be educated about the history of persecutions of all groups targeted through hate, including the Jewish people. Only through such vigilance will we be equipped to “never forget” the misdeeds of the past and build a better future for all. We believe there is no place for hatred in our country and stand with the Jewish community to offer our respect and support. We are currently working to identify meaningful ways that we can support the Jewish community in response to these events. We continue to devote significant efforts within our firm and our communities to promote greater diversity, equity and inclusion.
