LOS ANGELES, February 28, 2020 – Hooper, Lundy & Bookman congratulates Eric Chan on his selection as a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) 2020 class of Fellows. This landmark program was created by the LCLD to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.

Eric is a partner in the Litigation Department and co-chair of the firm’s Recruiting and Diversity & Inclusion Committees. He is a technology enthusiast and trial lawyer who advises clients on complex business litigation and arbitration, with an emphasis on managed care litigation and disputes involving health information technology (HIT) and patent infringement. Eric is also a co-chair of the Health Law Committee for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Healthcare Section and Diversity in the Profession Committee.

“This is a tremendous honor for Eric as he joins a selected group of experienced attorneys from diverse backgrounds who have been recognized for their potential as leaders in their organizations,” said Mark Reagan, Managing Partner of Hooper, Lundy & Bookman.

According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Fellows Program offers participants “a year-long, in-depth program devoted to relationship-building, in-person training, peer-group projects, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership and the best teachers in the business.”

Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 320 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. The LCLD Fellows Program, which has trained more than 1,600 mid-career attorneys since 2011, is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives. For more information, visit www.lcldnet.org.
