Catherine Srithong Wicker

Catherine Srithong Wicker counsels health systems, hospitals, and health care providers on various regulatory compliance and litigation matters. She represents businesses and professionals in health care fraud and abuse investigations and assists clients with internal compliance, responding to government subpoenas, requests for information, and Medicare/Medicaid audits.

Catherine also provides full service support to medical staff leaders and administration, and is regularly called upon to assist clients with both day-to-day and complex medical staff issues. Her practice includes peer review matters, internal investigations, fair hearing proceedings, and litigation relating to medical staff issues. She also advises clients on compliance issues, reporting obligations, self-governance, bylaws, credentialing and privileging, quality improvement activities, and physician disciplinary matters. She understands the statutes, regulations, and accreditation standards that affect medical staff operations but also appreciates the practical complexities and sensitivities involved when a provider’s conduct is being reviewed.
