Julia A. Caldwell

“I believe in building trust by showing clients that you understand their legal concerns and their business pressures. Managing legal risk is only one piece of providing effective counsel.”
Julia Caldwell is a litigator who combines her advocacy skills with a passionate commitment to protecting health care providers from claims, investigations, and enforcement actions that could interfere with or distract them from caring for their patients.
Appreciating the storytelling aspect of crafting persuasive and winning arguments, Julia is involved in a wide range of investigations and contested matters, with a particular focus on fraud and abuse claims and issues arising under the False Claims Act, Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and state-level equivalents. She complements her litigation, discovery, briefing, and investigatory experience with the behind-the-bench perspectives she gained serving as a judicial intern for a federal district court judge.
Julia served in that role while earning her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law, where she was associate editor of the school’s law review and was awarded a full tuition merit scholarship.
