HLB’s integrated bipartisan government relations team located in Washington, D.C., with extensive experience working with Congress and the Executive Branch, serves a wide range of clients including health systems, health plans, national associations, health technology companies, diagnostic manufacturers, kidney care providers, disability inclusion organizations, and others in the health care sector. HLB is seeking a Director or Principal of Government Relations and Public Policy with significant health care regulatory experience to advise and advocate on behalf of clients before federal health care agencies, particularly the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong writing and analytical skills who can work in a team-oriented setting. The role requires experience in advising clients on policy-related risks and opportunities, and the ability to both navigate the regulatory environment and craft substantive formal comments on regulations, and other agency guidance.
