Associate Attorneys

Because HLB generally hires first-year associates before their law school graduations, we reimburse them for expenses related to studying and completing the bar exam prior to beginning work at the firm.

Associates who produce more than 2,000 billable hours per year qualify for annual bonuses tied to the number of hours billed and may be eligible for an additional discretionary bonus.

Associates may participate in the firm’s 401(k) plan on the first of the month following date of hire and may contribute a percentage of their salary (with a cap) to the plan.
