Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, PC, today announced the first in a series of webinars on post-acute partnerships. The webinar series builds upon the firm’s recent report, “Opportunities for Post-Acute Partnership” by exploring themes and issues identified in the report, as well as the trends and key developments in these areas that will impact providers over the next year and beyond.

The first webinar in the series, to be held on May 15, 2019 at 12 pm PDT, will provide an overview of several CMS payment models, including BPCI Advanced and the new Medicare Shared Savings Program – both programs have upcoming summer deadlines for January 1, 2020 start dates. The webinar will also focus on strategies and practical tips for acute and post-acute providers looking for opportunities to use CMS payment models as a way to collaborate in a changing reimbursement landscape centered on value-based care.

The webinar be hosted by Hooper, Lundy & Bookman lawyers Ben Durie and Stephanie Gross, who will be joined by Ken Steele and Dave Wofford of ECG Management Consultants.

The Opportunities for Post-Acute Partnership report, which assesses survey results from hospital and post-acute care provider executives, is an important read for any health care professional who seeks to understand the opportunities, challenges, and solutions around the fast-evolving relationship between these two groups.
